Learning Log (inside the classroom)

       Introduction
       Last Monday, I learned about Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). The teacher taught educations system, Communicative Competences, The activities used in CLT etc. And he taught about presentation of group by PowerPoint. Besides, the teacher taught about Content-Based Instruction (CBI). And he taught Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT).In worksheet is example of lesson plan and I must coming writing but in class the teacher focus of CLT.
          Body
          First, the teacher talked about education system of Thailand. He said, education system of Thailand is bad because the teachers are not quality. Second, he taught about Communicative Language Teaching. The principles of CLT, make real communication = เน้นการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ภาษาจริงๆ. Provide opportunities for learners. = ทดลองภาษาเมื่อมีโอกาส,be to learn of learners' errors as they indicate that the learner is building up his or her communicative competences = จะได้เรียนรู้ข้อผิดพลาดของผู้เรียนที่พวกเขาแสดงให้เห็น , provide opportunities for learner to develop both accuracy and fluency = ครูต้องมีความถูกต้องและความคล่องแคล่ว , link the different skills = สอนแบบบูรณาการ 4 ทักษะ , let student induce or discover grammar rules = ให้นักเรียนค้นพบกฎไวยากรณ์. Next , the teacher taught about presentation of group by PowerPoint. Next, the activities used in CLT, Seek to develop students’ communicative competence by teaching grammar, Create the need for communication role play, Teach grammatical knowledge, Use content that is relevant to students’ lives and interests, Allow students to apply to knowledge learned in class, Employ authentic materials to create interests.
Next, the unique characteristic of CBI is the use of content, in CBI classroom, students attend to the learning of the content or subject matter explicitly and learn the language incidentally, CBI lesson are developed from and around the selected content and the language topics to be covered. Next, TBLT(การสอนภาษาโดยเน้นภาระงาน) is an approach based on the use of task as the core unit of planning and instruction in language teaching(Task is an activity).Main points of TBL are process, communication and meaning, purposeful activities and task. Theory of language are language is primarily a means of making meaning, TBL; structural, function, interactional models of language, conversation is the central focus of language. Learner role = group participant, monitor, and risk-taker and innovator.
Teacher role = selector and sequencer of task, preparing learners for task, conclusionees-raising. Finally, the teacher talked about example of lesson plan and I must coming writing in course.
          Conclusion
          In classroom the teacher taught about anything. But the teacher is focus about Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). I can use CLT for writing lesson plan coming soon.
