Introduction
Last
Tuesday I learned about Curriculum and Learning Management in English. The
teacher taught many things about this course. For example, the differences
between Language learning and Language acquisition, 3Ps,4Cs Communicative Competences.
In addition, the teacher taught about vocabulary. This course is very important
for me in the future. Curriculum and Learning Management in English is
interesting.
Body
The first, the differences between
Language learning and Language acquisition. Language learning is consciously
but Language acquisition is unconscious, that Language acquisition is as good
as Language learning. The second, 3Ps from practices practices and practices.
And 3Ps from presentation, practices, and production. Production is thinking,
studies are used deductive and inductive, but inductive is as good as deductive
because inductive can used the best teaching about thinking. Next, 4Cs are 1.
English for Communication, 2. English for Culture, 3. English for
connection/Content and 4. English for Community, but in 4Cs are focusing
English for Communication or 4 macro skills.
4
macro skills are listening, speaking, reading, writing. Next, I learned about
Communicative Competences are 1. Grammatical Competence, 2. Socialinguistics
Competence, 3. Discourse Competence, 4. Strategic Competence. And finally, I
learned about new vocabulary for me. For example Mnemonic = การจำ, Goal = เป้าหมาย, Objective =
จุดประสงค์, Standard
Based Curriculum = หลักสูตรสถานศึกษาที่มีมาตรฐาน, Indicator =
ตัวชี้วัด, Scaffolding
= การเรียนรู้.
Conclusion
Curriculum and Learning Management in
English is very important for me, in class I learned many things from the
teacher. I think, I can learn this course well although this course is very
difficult for me.
